Ed has a broad interest in all areas of property law with a particular emphasis on commercial matters, conveyancing, leases and subdivisions. Ed also practises employment law.

Having been admitted to the Bar in 1989, Sarah has had over 25 years of experience in the Law.
Diane is the Senior Legal Executive responsible for the administration of Estates and Trusts, while also assisting both Ed Loughnan and Sarah Roberts with relationship property files.
Diane enjoys the challenges that come from running estate files from Probate to final administration.
Theresa joined our team in 2020 while completing her Law Degree and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago. Following her admission to the Bar in 2021, Theresa now assists clients in a variety of legal work with a particular focus on property law relationship property and trust law. Theresa enjoys working with clients to provide practical solutions and clear advice.
Christie has worked in the legal profession for several years, having been a part-timer since High School.
She is currently studying towards a Masters degree while working full time assisting her colleagues with conveyancing, Wills and Trust matters.
Gary Horne has now retired from practice after over 40 years in the legal profession. The staff at Hatherly Loughnan are now assisting Gary’s clients with their legal needs moving forward.
