Ed’s family have a long history within the legal profession dating as far back as 1867. Ed commenced his legal career at Wills & Associates in Christchurch and became a partner of Hatherly Loughnan when the firms of Templetons and Wills & Associates merged to form that firm in 2007.

Ed has a broad interest in all areas of property law with a particular emphasis on commercial matters, conveyancing, leases and subdivisions. Ed also practises employment law and is able to assist both employers and employees in a wide range of matters. Ed has a friendly and professional approach to all legal matters and strives to resolve matters for his clients as efficiently as possible.

In his spare time, Ed can often be found on his mountain bike, when not spending time with his young family.
